  Here are the songs I've heard in the last day and a half... from regular radio, internet radio and one from a public hearing.... been listening to radio a little more since this is the season for more Carpenters than usual... and I'm am still hearing the non-Christmas tunes also. Over the last week I've heard "Merry Christmas Darling" 5 times and "The Christmas Song" once.
I keep the one and only station that seems to play their music on at my desk all day long.

Just this morning with in five minutes of each other I heard "Home for The Holidays" twice... once one lite106.9 (which is the station WJ7) listens to and once on KOST FM which is the station I listen to hear in Orange County... actually I believe KOST is in Los Angeles... but they're playing all Christmas right now. Please add the following... Home For The Holidays - 2 Winter Wonderland/Silver Bells/White Christmas (medley) ... and also late last night from a Spanish station... Please Mr. Postman -1 Jambalaya - 1 and more internet hears... We've Only Just Begun - 1 Only Yesterday - 1 Karen/Ella Medley Making Love In The Afternoon (Karen solo) (these four were played back to back on Live365 internet radio) |

Winter Wonderland/Silver Bells/White Christmas (medley) - 2 Home For The Holidays - 3 Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (slow version) - 1 We've Only Just Begun - 2 It's Going To Take Sometime - 1 If I Had You (Karen Carpenters solo) - 1 Only Yesterday - 1 This Masquerade - 1 Solitaire - 1 All You Get From Love Is A Love Song - 1 Superstar - 2 Goodbye To Love - 1  Hi O.E. I noticed your listing of Bless The Beasts & (The?) Children... yes the correct title of the song is "Bless The Beasts And Children"... it is commonly mistaken for being "Bless The Beasts And The Children"... but the second "the" is not in the actual title. Same with the song that you have listed as "A Kind Of Hush"... "A Kind Of Hush" is the name of the album and the song is actually named "There's A Kind Of Hush (All Over The World)"... and often shortened to "There's A Kind Of Hush". The title for "Canta" is actually "Canta/Sing" as part of the song is sung in both Spanish and English. |

In my travels today I heard... We've Only Just Begun - 1 time Top Of The World - 1 time I Won't Last A Day Without You - 1 time Superstar - 1 time No Carpenters Christmas songs so far today... although I heard a recording of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by a female singer that I didn't recognize. |

 Sleigh Ride 3 times Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas 3 times I am surprised I haven't heard mush of " Merry Christmas, Darling". This is usually one of the top played Carpenters Christmas songs in my area.

I agree... I'm hearing a whole lot more of "Home For The Holidays" than anything else and usually it's "Merry Christmas Darling"... with "Home..." in second... in my area...
