 Here are my hears for the past few days... Oddly enough I still haven't heard "Merry Christmas Darling" this year... but my local radio station KOST FM sure loves "Home For The Holidays". This is what I've heard starting with the Christmas songs... Yesterday I heard "It'd Going To Take Some Time", "Touch Me When We're Dancing" & "This Masquerade." Indeed, with Christmas songs coming in full force, the log is going to take some turns now.

Yesterday, on public radio, I heard "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" twice.
Today was another 'public first hear ever' (for me) ... "Christ Is Born".

I've got another public radio hear for "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". It seems to be the only Carpenters song the radio is playing this season. I hope they mix it up some more soon.

Last night, on the radio, I heard Home For The Holidays. They play that one occassionally round here, and I believe I'm hearing more Carpenters this year than last.....it will be interesting to see if I'm right about that, based on the stats. So O.E., - one radio hear of Home For The Holidays. |

As a side note: Last night I heard " Merry Christmas Darling", but it was sung by a children's choir.  Technically, this 'hear' doesn't fit into our log, but since it was a Carpenters original song I thought it deserved special mention.  |

I will try to get an updated log out by the weekend but until then please keep the reports coming. There has been so much internet radio activity that "Merry Christmas Darling" may not catch "We've Only Just Begun." (Or will there be a Christmas "miracle"?) WJ, I bet it was inspiring to hear a childrens choir singing MCD. And what public radio station do you listen to that plays such a god variety of music, including Carpenters?

Lately, the public radio station I am listening to is out of Louisville, KY ... lite 106.9.
As for the children's choir singing "Merry Christmas, Darling", I heard it over the speaker system in a local restaurant. I wish I knew what children's choir it was, because they did a great job of it.
