;D I know there are so many but mine is the shot from Remembering the Carpenters where they are standing in front of the two Lier jets with the Carpenters logo at the end of the wings on the fuel tanks. It is so symbolic of how big they were.

My favorite shot of K&R is in the "Only Yesterday" video, where they are walking and there are flowers transposed over them. It's a very artsy type shot.

I love the cover shot of Horizon and the inner sleeve shot from Made in America. I never get tired of looking at them when listening to those CD's.

!@ I think mine is the cover picture on the "A Kind of Hush" album where they are looking through a rainy window pane. Although the Horizon photos are pretty terrific. Guess I got A Kind of Hush song on my mind too, since I heard it again on the radio today and up until the other day, I had not heard it in ages it seems.

My favorite picture is on the back of Horizon the picture of Karen wearing the yellow sweater. She looks beautiful. I also like the HORIZON cover quite a bit.
The picture that was recently featured on the website of Karen playing her drums wearing the blue jeans outfit is also a big favorite. I'd like to see that picture again.

Tough one but as far as album covers go its Horizon for me it showed Karen in a more casual down to earth light even a little edgy not what I had expected cosidering their previous covers looked mre like valentine cards than record covers. Also Karen never looked better I never tire of this one. There are some other photos I love of Karen but I do not know how to descibe them my avitar is also one of my favorite photos of Karen love the yellow and black/brown outfit and her gorgeous hair and deep brown eyes in that one.

Mine is and always has been from the original "A Song For You Album". where there is a picture of Karen and Richard on the sleeve I believe. It has a reddish glow to it and I think they both look great there.

Another pic of Karen that I like is the controversial underwear/bikini photo. I think it was taken in 1974.

I take it you are referring to the one where Karen is on the phone looking back and laughing. Looks alot like underwear to me. I just remember the controversy it caused on this site when it was posted as a background. If that is the photo you are referring to it is not my favorite but not really a big deal to me either. I'll let you judge for yourself when you get it Dave.

The underwear pic is not my favorite either, I just like the picture because it shows a different side of Karen. I can't really pick a favorite picture of Carpenters/Karen, there are too many pictures of them to choose from. So I have several favorites. If I had to pick a favorite it would have to be one of the two below. Like Boat2Sail this is one of my favorite pictures. I also like the two pictures from "Horizon", both the cover and back picture. I like the picture below from the "Horizon" photo sessions. There are just too many to pick one or two.

I really like the pictures from the photo shoot for Karen's solo album. She looks very beautiful and poised. These are the ones that Karen finally admitted she was pretty. They show Karen in a new more mature light. I especially love the cover from VOTH album.

!@ There are so many but I had to mention one more video capture. The shot from MMM where Karen comes out of the shadows and begins to sing Masqeruade. She looks so elegant and sophisticated.

I like the earliest pictures to mid seventies when Karen had a healthy glow on her face and a radiant smile. I think she looked her best around 1973 to 1975. I like the picture where she's sitting in the directors chair and she wearing a yellow sweater over a long sleeve blouse and it has a blue background. Karen looked healthy and radiant. I also like the picture sleeve for SING, both Karen and Richard are glowing. Karen looks especially fit and vibrant in this picture.

I think Karen looked her best in 1974. I like the shots in the "Please Mr. Postman" video filmed at Disneyland. Karen looks absolutely fabulous. She looks so happy and full of life.
