Yesterday I watched a programme which broadcast Carpenters Video (Plesase Mr Postman,Close to you ,There's a kind of hush, half of Only Yesterday and half of Rainy days and Mondays) It is so great that they are broadcast. I hope that more HK people will listen to the Carpenters after the programme was broadcast. The host also talked about a interview. Karen said she didn't like fashion.

Hi Ming - thank you so much for sharing. It seems like the Carpenters all of a sudden a having another upswing in popularity throughout the world. This evening I visited one of my local music stores named Tower Records. i was surprised to see the huge selection of Carpenters CD's they had stocked. There were around 50 discs which took up two entire rows. There was about 20 copies of "Gold:35th Anniversary Edition", 2 copies of "As Time Goes By", 3 copies of "Singles 1969-1981", 3 copies of "Love Songs", and atleast one copy of each of their studio albums released between 1969 to 1983 and a few other miscellaneous releases including the tribute disc "If I Were A Carpenter". For this store to be carrying this much you carpenters are obviously selling. another local music/book store named "Border's" also has a large selection including all the original studio albums and about a dozen copies of "Gold:35th..." - also both stores have a 2 or 3 copies of Karen's solo in stock.
