Well since its a bootleg CD I don't think its the studio version. I will have to dig out the CD and see if there is any information in the liner notes. Rick knows a lot about the album but I will get back to you with any info I can provide JIM

Karen is so cool on that TONIGHT performance. She sings THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC wonderfully. She looked so pretty, her long, curly hair, held back by combs. She is slim, and looks nice in those brown, leather boots. I love when she talks in Japanese and sings a portion of SING in Japanese. What a ham! She has the audience eating out of her hands. And Richard, is just quieter. I was kind of upset, that he went and sat next to John. Karen should have set next to him. But I love when Karen rolls her eyes when Elke Summer says, "Star Parade" in her beautiful accent, and Karen just says it normally. Then Karen imitates her which is so cute.
I also love the song DANCE IN THE OLD FASHIONED WAY. She looks beautiful, although very thin. Her dress is cute. The same one that is used in THE CARPENTERS UNTOLD STORY pic with Olivia Newton John...

Thanks Jim. But are you referring to the live or the studio version? Already have the live one, on both CD and video. Their appearance on the Tonight Show is great by the way, Karen is really funny! Richard, well....., let`s blame it on the Quaalues ;-) @@ The recording of "Thank You For The Music" on "More Offerings" is the live version from the Tonight Show. The studio recording of TYFTM has yet to see the light of day - but I'm optimistic we will one day hear it. If anyone is interested the last time I visited my favorite music store which is PEPPERLAND MUSIC they did have one copy of "More Offerings" for $30.00. They will deliver it to you. Here is their address and phone number: PEPPERLAND MUSIC 850 N.
