Carpenters' albums which sells in Hong Kong is expensive. However, I think I am not wasting money because I love the songs and the liner notes.

I agree, it's money well spent. I buy a lot of Carpenters products myself. Including Cd's, DVD's and books.

Never purchased any merchandise, but probably have spent just over $300 in recordings which includes original copies bought ... then, copies of vinyl, cassettes, and CDs I've had to replace for various reasons. And a few copies of whatever bought as gifts along the way.

More than I've spent on any other artists in my entire life. (That's not saying much) I've enjoyed other artists in the past, but none as much as I do the C's at this time. I used to (and still) love Crosby, Stills, Nash, & (sometimes) Young, but I used to listen to their new releases over at my girl friend's house (at no personal expense.)

Last year I spent something like $150.00 on Carpenters Cd's and DVD's.
There are two U.S. releases slated for the next few months I will probably buy both.
