Hi All, I had heard before that there was a clip of Karen saying a word on the KAREN CARPENTER solo album, solo song IF I HAD YOU which I had never heard before today. Well I heard it! It is clocked at 3:44...Does anyone know of it or what she is saying??

Hi Cameron,
I listened to time position 3:44 today and heard the word! Kind of exciting.
I had my headphones on and the sound level max-ed out. I wish I could have turned it up louder. Only problem was when I reset back to 3:42. Ow!
My first impression was the word is "whatever." I can't imagine why this word was allowed to remain in the final version. It is unlikely that you'd hear this word unless you know it's there and you're listening for it.
I listened over and over and turned up the treble and lowered the bass. I never changed my mind. What do you think the word is?

It does sound like she's possibly saying "whatever", or maybe "my everything", but you can only here the "my ever" part.
