I receive several emails asking about an address to contact Richard Carpenter. The closest thing I am aware of is the fan club address.

Hi All,
I had heard that RC had a new secretary. I always felt bad that he didn't keep EV WALLACE on. But I had heard that he wasn't close to EV, and that Karen and the rest of the family liked EV. But since Karen and her parents are deceased, he had no reason to keep EV on. Ev was awesome though! I remember once she even sent me some postcards and wallet pics of Karen and Richard, free of charge. She was a dear lady. I would have loved to have met her and to hear more about the Carpenters.
I always get a kick out of the fact that her and Mom Carpenter back in the 1960's worked together, and Mom had said her kids could sing and Ev should come on over to hear them sing. Well Ev had an evening free and Mom asked her to come over and Ev relunctantly said yes and was thinking she might regret it. Cuz every mother thinks her kids are the best!! Ev was preparing herself for the sounds of acid rock...but when she got there she heard the voice of an angel singing and was flabbergasted...and Richard's wonderful piano sound and everything together was lovely! And the rest is history!

Hi All, Fortunate Enough With Other UK Fans & Friends to Meet Evelyn .....TWICE .... Once at Newville House and Later at Richard's 1997 Carpenters Center Concerts -Where Ev was a Special Guest and sat Close to Carpenter Family  Real Reasons for Evelyn's Retirement as PA were Due to Agnes Carpenter''s Death , Sale of Newville House and Ev Being 77....and Needing to Take it Easier With Her Family in Utah  Certainly All Carpenter Family Appreciated Ev's Long and Loyal Service .....Just Like Everyone Eventually .....Retirement Beckons  Peter
