Hello my friends and fans of Carpenters/Karen Carpenter,
My newest book is finally on the market for purchase. It is available exclusively through amazon. com.
The new book is titled "The Carpenters Online Interviews Expanded Edition." It includes interviews with musicians, songwriters, engineers and others who have worked with Carpenters or Karen Carpenter in one way or another. There's a great section on Karen's solo album with several interviews which will give you some great insight into the making of her beloved solo album.
Some of the new interviews include Danny Ironstone (co-writer of the song "Prime Time Love"), Terry Draper (found of the band Klaatu and co-writer of the classic "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft"), Glenn Berger (an engineer that worked on Karen's solo album). There are also a few new fan interviews as well as a few never before seen photos of Karen Carpenter.
