It was the day of the concert and richard and karen were so excited they did a new song called close to you amoung other songs they did the audience loved the new song and gave a standing ovation richard said thank you very much were gonna take a short break but well be right back and karen and richard left the stage karen whisperd to richard can you believe whos here richard said i know glen cambell burt bacarach this estate is huge richard said karen said i know where do you think they have the bathroom richard said i dont know but you cant go now look whos coming it was herb albert karen said i have to and yelled to him she yelled herb hi ill be right back and karen went to the bathroom she walked in and saw another lady at the mirror she was touching up her lipstick karen said oh excuse me shyley and the other lady turned around and said hi i was hopeing id meet you im lucy ted newmans wife yoy have the most beautiful voice she said karen said thank you lucy said excuse me and sat down on the sofa that was there she took her shoes off and started rubbing her feet and said oh my feet are killing me i get so used to wearing sneakers all day then i have to come to one of these show and tells wearing heels is tourture lucy said karen just chuckled karen said to lucy i love your dress whered you get it lucy said god i dont remember sacks magnins somewhere in beverley hills karen said weve been rehersing so much i havent had any time to go shopping my mother bought most of my clothes lucy said well if youve ever got a free afternoon ill take you shopping i love to shop karen said really id like that lucy said ok . Karen said ill see you later smiling lucy said ok a friendship had just begun meanwhile richard got to meet burt bacharach and his assoicaite ted newman which was lucys husband burt told richard herb tells me your looking for representation richard shook burts hand smiling said yes then they made a deal richard then saw karen coming back from the bathroom and he said karen karen what has four legs loads of talent and the best managers in town karen said us us richard grabbed karen up in his arms and gave her a hug and said yes yes laughing
