Hi there folks,
I wanted to share something with you. The title of this thread is actually the title of a venue I went to last night. There was a concert called "Yesterday Once More" starring a great pianist, Mac Frampton. He was accompanied by a percussionist, drummer, bass guitarist and a keyboard player. Also, there were two singers on board. The theme was music of the 70's and of course, the title was the Carpenters very own YOM. They featured a medley of Carpenter tunes, Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond and Billly Joel along with a few other fine arrangements.
It was a fantastic show. Mac Frampton had just completed a visit to Europe and came straight from their to here via NYC. Cool, huh? Look him up on the internet.
It was a very enjoyable show. He is a remarkable pianist.

When I read the thread title, I thought it was going to be a music of the 70s article or link and mentioned "Mac" for Fleetwood Mac, "Frampton" for Peter Frampton, and "Yesterday Once More" for Carpenters. I wonder if Mac Frampton is his born name or if he changed it?
