Hi Moe and Roland! Both excellent choices. Especially "Leader Of The Pack" - I would have never thought of that one - but it is fitting.
I will come back with my song choice tonight.

I'd have to say Beechwood-45789. She looks to be in the flirting stage bit.

Many great song choices.
My choice for this picture is "Yesterday Once More". Like YOM this picture has somewhat a nostalgic feeling to it. The picture is also somewhat sad and solemn like the song. Karen has a bit of a solemn expression on her face.

Isn't it interesting how our perceptions of these pictures can go from one thought to another.
For instance, Rick, you just mention the word "solemn" in your description and mine was "flirting". Quite a difference of description in the same picture.
Have I missed any pics yet or was that the last one posted?

I guess because of how things ended up happening I see sadness in a lot of pictures of Karen.

???Good observation Beaner how everyone has different thoughts about these pics...there's no right or wrong answers...and since K. and R. were well known for having a good variety of songs, there are lots that can be seen as fitting. And so I wonder if anyone knows what song she's singing in this particular pic...or if she's just posing. Not long ago, I read (and not for the first time) an article about anorexia and Karen's awful struggle with it most of her days, and how it affects so many. And I surely don't like to think of Karen in such a negative light...it's a disease...not her fault...and yet I can't help but think of it of course. And so, I marvel at how she did fight against it..and especially I realize her devotion and love for music . I'm thankful for her courage and what she did accomplish. :'(Guess I brought up some bad vibes, but, in truth, God gave her all the right stuff to being a great singer and friend to us all. And that's great....and she had Richard who I think was very encouraging for her.

You are so right Kathy. There are no right answers in THE PICTURE GAME. We each see and perceive things differently. In this picture I mention solemn and sad. But now after further inspection of this picture I have to disagree with my own statement of "sad". Karen doesn't look sad in this picture she looks more serious in the face but with an unusual pose. I really like this picture because I feel it's show the true personality of Karen. Karen was a tomboy at heart and she was a unique and fun individual but she was also a very seriuos minded person. I guess that's why I chose the song "yesterday Once More" because it contains all those elements. It's a fun song with it's "shing a ling a ling" lines. But it's also a very serious and even somewhat dark song - as is this picture.
