Hi guys!
last night I went through my videos by The Carpenters as I have several thngs from old shown etc. that has been taped over the years. I also found the video of Sweet Sweet Smile which was made in the 90`s I believe for an english documentary. It is amazing and should be released as an official video. It shows various clips of them mainly from their 1976 tour and Karen looks great!! In the end there is some writing by John Tobler on the screen and the video is not in color, more like brown-colourish.
Do you know of it? It is worth checking out, my favourite video by them!!

:)hi Christian and ThomB..no, I don't know about the video you speak of, but I'm not familiar with many of the carps. videos although I surely want to get more. I only have the Live at the Budokan and it's great.

Hi! I do not believe this is the same as on S.E tv special as this video consists of clips from their concerts, mainly from 76. It is a great video and is in brownish colours. I remember Rick mentioned Sweet Smile video from the Video Biography karaoke dvd and it might be the same. Karen looks stunning but very thin.
i have several video clips of the Carpenters, with everything from their tv-specials to newsclippings of Karens death. The quality ranges from poor to very good as all of them have been taped several times.

The "Sweet Sweet Smile" clip from "Video Biography", is brownish in color and shows Karen playing the drums. She also lifts her blouse a little at the beginning and shows us her belly - what a character that Karen was.
