Looks like Dreams got us back on track with Twisted Logic. I really enjoyed Game #18. I was actually stumped.
Game #19 is a Level Five...
Artist: CAT LITTLE
Album: DOWN DIALECTS

Would the artist happen to be Kitty Carlisle Hart or Eartha Kitt?

Two interesting and good guesses Dreams... but neither one is correct. Keep on trying.

I've gone in circles with the provided clues and have come up with......nothing. :-)
'CAT' made me think of Kitty Wells, but 'LITTLE' says that I'm wrong.
'DOWN DIALECTS' brings to mind Australia and their dialects or STRINE. Again, this gets me nowhere.
Just checking in and letting you know I'm getting dizzy from all the circles I'm making!
Fun Fun

Here's another clue - vague but still a clue.
This artists first album was released in the mid 70's and still releases new albums to this very day. This artist first album initially hit in the Uk - but this U.S. born aritist is somewhat an American institution. I personally own all this artists albums and the waiting is the hardest part between new releases.

Ooh, excellent Tim... the artist is Tom Petty and the album is "Southern Accents" - love that song "Don't Come Around Here No More".
The connection you mentioned is a connection - which I didn't think of - so thank you for coming up with another connect. Though, it is not the connection I had in mind - so there is still another connection - actually there are two more Carpenters connections to this album. One of the connections has a connection to Frank Zappa - the other connection is a "vocal" connection.
Happy hunting...

Stephanie Spruill and Maxine Waters Willard sang solo and background vocals for Tom Petty's "Southern Accents" album and background vocals for the Carpenters' "Made in America" album. Similarly Julia Tillman Water sang for Tom Petty's "Southern Accents" album and the Carpenters' "Passage" album.
BTW, I was not familiar with Tom Petty's song "Atomic Kitten" (artist clue="Cat Little"?) until now. The two songs I tended to assocaite with him were the better-known "Refugee" and "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" with Stevie Nicks.

There's still one more connection - this connect also has a Frank Zappa connection.
BTW... my artist clue CAT LITTLE was actually a play on Tom's name. Tom is a slang name for a male cat - hence the term tomcat. A synonym for the word LITTLE is PETTY.

Anybody have any guesses what that last Carpenters connection is to Tom Petty's "Southern Accents" album?
I'll reveal the answer tomorrow night if nobody gets it by then.

Kurt McGettrick played baritone saxophone on the Carpenters' song "Man Smart Woman Smarter" from the album "passage". McGettrick also played horns on some of the tunes on Petty's "Southern Accents" album. McGettrick also played baritone saxophone on several Frank Zappa albums.
I will be back with another Twisted Logis in about two days...
