Game: Twisted Logic

Here's a new one for The Carpenters Online. It's called Twisted Logic.

You will get two very vague clues to a song which is in someway related to Karen, Richard, Carpenters.

These are not Carpenters songs - these are songs recorded by other artists but Carpenters are connected in one way or another.

There are varying levels of difficulty for each game. A one star game is the easiest. A five star game is the toughest.

Correct answers will include the name of the song, the artists name and how the songs connects to Karen, Richard, Carpenters.

Please even if you don't think you have the right answer give it a shot anyway - it's always interesting to read people's thoughts on things like this.

Okay this was a tough one so here is the answer.

The song is "Venus" by Frankie Avalon.

Venus is the godess of love in beauty in Greek mythology. Frankie Avalon also had a hit in 1959 with a song titled "Why".

The song connects to the Carpenters in that in 1978 Richard produced and Karen was associate producer for a single which B.L. Mitchell released. The a-side was named "Where I Want To Be", the b-side was a remake of Avalon's "Venus".
