Hi all!
In the last days I have thought alot about Karen and her wedding, especially after reading Camerons stories about what might have happened if Karen had survived.
It seems to me, after reading several articles and stories about it, that the marriage was definately over and Karen just wanted the seperation. It was not easy for her though as she felt like a failure and thought that once you get married it`s for life. There were, offcourse, numerous reasons for why it failed and as always both parties are to blame. What surprised me though is that Tom was not the financially successful man he was thought to be and apparently money was disapperaing from Karens accounts all the time ( this was told by her closest friend Debbie I believe). Karen was the breadwinner in the marriage apparently. What I do wonder is what happened as Karen passed away and they were not formally divorced as the papers were to be signed that day. Did he also inheret her?

Hi Christian, It is my belief that Karen had already changed her will some months prior...so as Richard states...Tom was in line for nothing. I think he got the house or houses they owned. And that was it. But I think after her treatment, she realized the marriage was over, and was coming back to find a man of her own, as she had a lot of living to do...or so. I always firmly believe, that had Karen lived...she would have had her family...a loving husband...several kids...and tried to juggle both music career and family. And I am sure she would have done it too.
