My favorite Christmas songs include Merry Christmas Darling, I'll Be Home For Christmas, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I adore the way Karen sings each one.

I just love "Home for The Holidays" from "An Old Fashioned Christmas"... Karen sings it with such a lilt."
Just heard that this morning as I was heading out to run some errands.

I had a egg tart, Tim. Have you tried one of this before?
Looking forward to the pic, Rick.

She's always been the "girl down the street" to me. Houses weren't right up against one another where I grew up...

I saw one of the episodes they were on but only the part that they were on.There's this lady in NY that like to get Carpenters things from and she had the DVD for sale but I've lost the little thing that had all of the things in it that she had for sale.

That is a good picture of Karen, Rick. You always do such a fine job with the pictures here on the forum. I haven't heard of egg tarts either. I guess it will be moon pie season soon, Ming?

Did Karen did a skit or something with Carol? I just saw that medley that they did.

SB, Max sounds like a real sweet little man....don't leave him outside to freeze, tho - *winks* Outstanding photo, Rick. Where did you find it? My folks used to watch Carol Burnette religiously. My father loved to laugh, and between she, Harvey Kormann, and Vickie Lawrence...and especially Tim Conway - well, laugh, we did. Do you all remember Mr. Tud-a-ball, and Mrs. Ah-Whiggins? *smile*

Call me strange, but I have no desire to own anything that was once owned by them, except maybe Richard's Hemi Road Runner...

Back then, I spent most of my free time either driving around or hanging out on the CB radio...yesterday's chat room.
