We have four completely different songs in the Semi-Finals Round Four.
Which song most deserves to join Chicago's "Old Days", John Lennon's "Imagine" and Elton John's "Your Song" in the Year End Finals?

I chose "Everything I Own" by Bread. It's soft and mellow and bittersweet ... a little like the C's music.

This was an easy one for me - Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" all the way. Donna is such an outstanding vocalist and "Hot Stuff" was absolutely one of the hottest songs of the entire decade.
Though, I must give a nod to Spyro Gyra's "Morning Dance" - love this song - this was my second choice.

I am in agreement that "Everything I Own" is outstanding and that Bread is not unsimilar to Carpenters (a comment once made spontanesouly by an early 20's friend who obviously didn't hear Carpenters during their day), but I also am inclined toward the "Disco Queen" Donna Summer. But in the end I have to go with Bread.

I am going with Bread's "Everything I Own." The ethereal qualities of David Gates' voice and his melodies are very distinctive. The songs "Make It with You," "Baby I'm A-Want You," "If," "Aubrey" and "Guitar Man" are all well-deserved hits.

"Everything I Own" by Bread wins the Semi-Finals Round four and now goes to The Finals - which is the next game.
This round is officially closed.
