The long promised reviews of Palma Pascale's In & Out of Love will be posted, shortly - barring any unforseen circumstances. See "Tim's Musings" for additional information about this!
At any rate, since having been treated to these three wonderful CD's full of music - The Broken Cup, I'll Leave You The Music (the title song must be the most beautiful song ever written, in my opinion....I'm crazy over this one), and In & Out of Love, I have been treated to two additional Palma Pascale creations. As I mentioned, I have "WHAT THE HELL, NELL" the melodrama Palma wrote, which is just so creative and entertaining. Expertly composed, sung, arranged, orchestrated, this, too, is just a marvel. Listening to this exposes even more elements of Palma's genius. One day, we'll hear her name everywhere, I feel quite sure.
Now, I have one more absolute delight that I'm listening to - and that would be Palma's other musical entitled Bachelor Buttons. It's a beautiful, intricately woven story, and the music is every bit as beautiful. Between the "whimsey" of NELL, and the beauty of Bachelor Buttons, this writer is just in awe, not to mention the other 3 CD's.
Finally, I have been royally treated to an MP3 of "Palma, unplugged" and a new, absolutely gorgeous, but tear-your-heart-out Sinatra-type tune entitled "FOR MY LADY FRIEND". What a wonderful work, this.
So, I have much to tell you all about, not to mention other things that have been happening. All in good time...all in good time.
I hope everyone is well. It looks as though, from the posts, that everyone is. I know that Leo is on his way as I write to a Madonna concert, and is pretty stoked about that. Maybe he'll stop by Tim's Corner and let us hear about it.
Check in, everyone. I'm loving what's going on in Tim's Musings, where I plan to post this evening....much to say.
I wish you all the best from here in my corner,
Tim
