Karen I listen to your music all the time. I think you are the greatist. I miss you. Your music coinsides with my life. I would like to know more about Karen, so reply if possible. I am also an anarexic. Your were my mom's favorite and she listened to you when she was pregnant with me. I wonder if that has anything to do with my fascination, because everyone that's my age cant stand to listen to Karen's music. They say she's dead, so why should we.
Hi Kimberly, welcome. Karen had such a beautiful voice. Yes Karen may have left this earth, but the music is still very alive in 2004.
A person doesn't have to be alive to enjoy their music. If that's the case we'd miss out on some of the world's very finest musicians, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Buddy Holly, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Freddie Mercury and so many others.
The Carpenters produced quality music with true musicianship in every sense. People of all ages and nationalities love the music of the Carpenters. The visitors to this website and forum come from all over; Japan England Poland Brazil Canada Iceland Ireland Israel Africa Russia Viet Nam Cambodia Austrailia New Zealand Norway U.S.A. and more and more. from every corner of the world.
About other kids your age not liking the Carpenters that's okay, because everybody can't like the same thing. The Carpenters tend to appeal to a different crowd anyway. Maybe a more intellectual sort, probably a more artistically intune person.
It all comes back to the music, and we are all entitled to enjoy what we enjoy.

;DHi I just wanted to say Nathan told Karen about Christopher's illness while she was away, but I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) if Nathan is already a Doctor how come he didn't recognize his son's illness sooner and stop him from dying. Suziq272
