???In one way I hesitate to bring this up, since so much lately has been said about the great stuff on you tube, but here I go anyway. There are several parts of a documentary about the C's on you tube and the one called Yesterday Once More, John Denver is interviewed. He appears about how he looked about the time he died. He mentions how he was a friend with K. and R. and how it's hard for him to listen to a C's record since Karen died. John also makes the remarks, (not exact quote): "well, they made some great music, but they will never make it to the R. and Roll Hall of Fame, and neither will I "... As he says this he kind of gives a small smile and looks down and around the floor, a bit coyly (is COYLY a word..?) No i don't have that exact link to that. Some of you out there may know what I'm talking about and be smart enough to put in a link. But, I will try to find it and put where I find it. In any case, when I heard John say this, in my mind, I could easily agree and understand why he felt this way about his music since his early start and thereafter, tended to lean in the country lane, But of course, I believe the C's surely deserve to be in that Hall. sad because these fantastic people, Karen and John, are no longer with us.....

If anyone wants to have a "look-see" at the documentary especially where J. Denver says as I mentioned, then you go to youtube.com and put The Carpenters: Yesterday Once More (1996) Part 2
. Many of you I'm sure have seen it, but I found it interesting all over again.
