Karen Carpenter: 3 topics in 1 thread

Topic One: In 1982 (while Karen was back in New York for medical treatment) she made a stop to the recording studio where Phil Ramone worked. Ramone was working on a new album for Art Garfunkel. During this visit Karen did a guest recording for Art on this album.

I can't quite figure out which album Garfunkel may have been working on as "Scissor's Cut" was released in September 1981 - which would mean recording would have been completed no later than August 1981. I don't think Karen was in NY at that time. There was an album released in 1984 called "The Art Garfunkel Album" - but this was a compilation of previously released material from his Columbia days. Does anybody have any further information on this?

Topic Two: Karen loved the TV Show "Dallas".

Topic Three: In the late 70's Karen dated Mark Harmon. Does anybody know more about this?
