Interviews with Karen and Richard

I found some radio interview excerpts set to a slide show that reveal some of Karen's very genuine personal reflections on her first drum set, health, priorities, hopes to do a movie, new condo, needlepoint, her favorite song, the difficulties of dating, and favorite singers. The audio is from "The Charlie Tuna Show" in 2000 on Los Angeles radio station KLAC AM 570, which is now owned by Clear Channel.

Here is also an excerpt from a BBC radio interview with both Richard and Karen by Ray Moore, which includes the songs that move them and Karen singing a few snippets from "Laughter in the Rain" and "This One's for You."

Dreams, thanks for this. I had not heard much of the conversation here, and had not seen a bunch of the photos of Karen, in particular. Both of these videos are definitely worth watching, and I just love to hear Karen's genuine laugh in the 50th birthday video.

Bittersweet as it was, what a lovely thing to do first thing this Friday morning - watching these warm moments with Karen and Richard.
