I'm on a new mission. I'm trying to get hold of sealed albums that have promotional stickers on them. One's that usually say "...includes the hit single" I've managed to get hold of :
Close To You (contains the new hit single "We've Only Just Begun") Carpenters (includes "Superstar" "Rainy Days And Mondays" "For All We Know") A Song For You (It has a heart shaped photo and heart shaped song list sticker) The Singles 1969-1973 ( 2 stickers- Includes "Top Of The World" & BIG tracklist sticker) Voice Of The Heart (includes "Make Believe It's Your First Time")
I've seen ones for all the other original albums except for 'Ticket To Ride' & 'Made In America' I doubt 'Ticket' had one since it was a reissue of sorts and trying to find a sealed copy of 'Offering' let alone one with a sticker might as well be an event in the next Olympics.
Does anyone else collect these or do you specialize in another type of Carpenters collectable?

As far as I remember there are two different stickers for "Horizon". One is a white sticker listing "Please Mr. Postman" and "Only Yesterday", the other is a clear sticker with the famous Carpenters logo.
I'm working on collecting Carpenters tour/music books. Each year from 1971 to 1976 they released a booklet - they coincided with each album release. I had a few - but they have somehow disappeared. The ones I still have are for the albums "Horizon" and "A Kind Of Hush".

Cool, Rick! Songbooks are very nice to have. I also love collecting sheet music and full page magazine ads for each album & single.
