Just got back from my local town where I have been touring the record stores. Ultimate Carps is apparently selling quite well in all was what I was informed when I just happened to ask how it was doin ( got a funny look from one guy behind the counter in one store who asked me rather suspiciously why I wanted to know & who was I! Well it wasnt my fault I had just knocked over a display of music magazines at the time as I was lookin over me shoulder willing the geezer in the stupid pork pie hat to stop lookin at the other artists in the "new releases" section & pick up the only CD worth having. OMG cant wait to check out next weeks charts..I originally reconed it wouldnt chart well but I may just well be wrong. Check out the Music in Ebay under Carpenters...many Carpenters items have got bids of more than 1 bid & there is on offer a "Scrapbook" full of old memorobilla...wouldnt mind havin that meself only from what I can make out most of the stuff in it I already have. Happy Thanksgiving Day to all U lot in the USA. Ken Carps1000

That is soo cool, carps. Your country is neat in that the music charts are divided up into interesting categories, that is just my opinion. Keep everyone posted on how things turn out with the Carpenters over there.
Also, I was wondering if you were a Queen fan, by any chance? I love Queen and am just wondering is all.

Hi there Merlin Jones. I am a big fan of Queen. Freddy Mercury for all his faults was a mega star & a true showman..cant believe that he rarely did interviews cos he was really shy as it certainly didnt show when he was on stage. I have several Queen Lps but only 3 on CD I have also an authorised biography by Rick Sky called The Show Must Go On. Fave single is Who Wants 2 Live For ever & havent got a fave LP as they are all good. Love Stevie Nicks Kate Bush Donna Summer Pet Shop Boys Tears For Fears & Manhattan Transfer tho Man Trans last coupla of LPs wernt to me taste. Carpenters are me life still. I hate me piccy on this forum as I look awful & must get it changed...& some one once told me I looked like Mel Gibson is me only claim to fame apart from meeting Our Prime Minister & his wife 2 years ago..piccys to prove it too. Take care & happy Carpenters to you. Ken x
