There are several songs from the medleys which I think would have been great in full length version.
Probably my most wanted is a full length recording of "Knowing When To Leave" as performed in the live medley of the "Bacharach/David Medley" - I just love the way Karen sings this one.
Another is "Good Day Sunshine" - this is found in the "Make Your Own Kind Of Music" medley - Carpenters do a very short yet engaging rendition of this Beatles classic.
Any others out there?

As mentioned in another post, I wish there was a full composition of 'From The Heart' (the chocolate commercial). Other choices would include some of the songs they touched on in the Make Your Own Kind Of Music medley ... I think a lot of these were Dusty Springfield recordings, but I love Karen's take on them. She was just so fluid.

Some excellent choices Rick and I would add a few here such as Johnny Angel, The End Of The World, and One Fine Day from the Oldies Medley, Make It Easy On Yourself From Bacharach Medley as well as Any Day Now from the live BM. Also Dancing in The Street, My Funny Valentine and Its Impossible all from the various medleys done on several Carpenters specials/appearances. Of course there are the unreleased unfinished songs as well as the unreleased solo recordings all of which I would love to hear entire finished versions of.

Hello Folks, I think 'Do you know the way to San Jose?' is also a great song for a full recording. Ming

I believe that nothing suited Karen's style more than one of Richard's simple piano arrangements gently cushioning her voice. And I find her vocals on "A House Is Not A Home", "Wishin' and Hopin'" and "I Want To Be Free" particularly heartbreaking. This all reminds us once again what stunning talents they both were.

From the "Now And Then" Oldies medley - I would have loved to hear full lnegth recordings of "Johnny Angel", "Our Day Will Come" and "One Fine Day".
I think a full length recording of "Our Day Will Come" could have most likely been a good single release.

Dude! So do I! Oh my goodness , I heard that not too long ago and Karen's vocal is just too good for it being a commercial and all. It is beautiful.Man, her voice is darker and richer than actual chocolate on that commercial.
