Celebrating Four Years: NEW AVATARS

I have just spent the last hour loading 12 new avatars for all to use in their posts.

You can find these avatars in the "Select Smilie" drop down box - just to the left of the message field after you click on the "Reply" button.

Just click on the little arrow pointing downward in the box that say "Select Smilie" and you will get the entire selection of avatar available to use. You will have to scroll to see all of them as there are over 70 avatars now.

Here are the newest ones:


























...The Betty Boop is for Kathy (smoothie) as she wrote me and requested a Betty Boop avatar. And the Pink Panther is for me as I think Pink is a cool cat.

Rick! GREAT JOB with the new avatars. I think these are wonderful. Thanks. I love Mickey Walking, and he works so well with the Marquee setting....walks right across the screen. But the others, well, they're just great. Like Tink....gotta love that Tinkerbell!

Hi Rick,

I really enjoy the new avatars you have uploaded, especially the ones that are animated and/or can be used in the context of Carpenters' songs. One particular avatar I like but haven't used until now is the flying dove, which was flying in a "backwards" direction relative to the functionalities of this website until I made some adjustments to it. Now I can use it in two different contexts:

"Why do birds suddenly appear?"
OR
"Though the dove is on the wing you need not know why..."

Thanks Dreams... I tried a few times to turn the Dove in the other direction - but was not successful with it. If you don't mind I'd like to upload it as an avatar so others can use it in conjunction with the marquee function.


Hey Tim... as you can tell I also love the Mickey gif... I'll be using that one a lot - as well as the Pink Panther avatar. Kathy and Betty Boop will almost become synonymous.

Hey Dreams, nice job on getting the dove to fly the right way with the Marquee function - Tink looks pretty good going that way, too.
