Below is an email I have sent to several people on my email list: Hello all... I just wanted to send this message to announce that The Carpenters Online (the main web site at www.carponline.bravepages.com ) is celebrating it's fouth anniversary on November 16, 2006. A few months ago the forum celebrated it's third anniversary. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have helped to make The Carpenters Online a storehouse of information and knowledge as well as a popular cyberspace social outlet. Over the past four years we have developed quite a bit. We have a six person committee who works together to bring such wonderful insights such as our "Hall Of Fame" page. Carpenters Online has done numerous original interviews with many musicians who are connected with Carpenters such as Randy Sparks, Russell Javors, Liberty DeVitto, Rob Mounsey, Steve Eaton, Chris Christian and Palma Pascale. many times I looked at the name of Palma Pascale when I would listen to "Horizon" - never did I think I myself would one day have an affiliation with her. Truly truly a wonderful experience. Now i would like to name those people who I thank for all their support and help: Tim San Paolo Kathy (Smoothie) Cameron Longo Enigma Beth Mosior Dave Hromanik MaryAnn (beaner) Moe Ming Wisejester7 Jim Hutchinson GoodOldDreams Rob Scala Ken Federico Tom Boats Will Sammy O.E. Christian Leo Tarring PeterUk JohnnyAngel Dana (magiclamp) Teresa (heartwave) Phoenixfan4 Makapipi CenturyCity (Aaron) mrbillis4u Karl thecopey Nessie rmjoots KCmusician neverbeenalone (Chris) Dave Rogash (D R Drummer) Randy Schmidt Russell Javors Liberty DeVitto Randy Sparks Steve Eaton Palma Pascale Dee Long Rob Mounsey Chris Christian and a great big THANK YOU to everyone who comes to visit the web site and the forum on a daily basis! I have really enjoyed the past four years. The Carpenters Online Web Site www.carponline.bravepages.com Celebrating Four Years of Community

Yes, truly a time to celebrate Rick Henry, and all who contribute here. This website has been, for me and for many, informative, fun, inspirational, encouraging, meaningful, powerful, pleasant, enlightening, and yes, even empowering. The legacy of Karen and Richard Carpenter is far-reaching on many levels. There are so many who truly Cherish the incredible musical prowess of each of these individuals....the two "kids" from Downey. What an indelible impression they have left in American Music, and on the minds of those of us who actually experienced their rise to fame as it occurred, as well as those today who have just "heard of" or "learned about" them as they were growing up. It's a wonderful cyber family we have here. All who participate add so greatly to the overall outcome of this forum, and website. It has been a pleasure and a privilege for me to serve both as Commentator and as Global Moderator here on this site, and to make the acquaintance of some, and strong friendships of others. Thanks friends for visiting and please continue to do so. This is the place where we can share hopes, dreams, visions, and in the lives of two quite special musicians, Karen and Richard Carpenter. Rick, congratulations. Your vision has become quite an outstanding reality and has taken on a life all its own. Tim
