Thanks for the references of radio stations; I tuned to WDUV for the first time Saturday and the very first thing I heard was "For All We Know."

My internet radio station is called Pop into the 70's it's on 365Live... I need to log on and get the correct name. I usually log on from The Carpenters Online on MySpace... My songs are... It's Going To Take Sometime Sweet Sweet Smile Goodbye To Love I Won't Last A Day Without You Only Yesterday Solitaire all these I heard from a combination of internet radio stations.

Now that I am primarily listening to two internet radio stations (along with others periodically) and other hears from public places (malls, restaurants, etc) and regular radio I am hearing quite a bit more Carpenters. Carpenters are very popular in restaurants, malls and other retail locations (Home Depot, etc) here in Southern California. Here is my hears... Solitaire Rainy Days And Mondays Goodbye To Love Sweet Sweet Smile Superstar

My favorite internet radio station is called... Live365 Internet Radio - POP GOES THE 70's! Finally it took me a while to get the name right. Pop Goes The 70's plays a diverse selection of Carpenters songs. I hear "Sweet Sweet Smile", "Only Yesterday" regularly and even heard "Goofus" once. There are others I will get the names of.

thanks, Rick, for the reference to Live365. I just want to confirm- in your Sept. 19 log, that you are reporting songs that you have heard on that station at various times, and not reporting new hears, or are these new counts for "Only Yesterday", "Sweet Sweet Smile" & "Goofus"?

Hi O.E. that is correct they are not new counts... those are songs that I've listed in my previous posts as "hears". I haven't tuned in much but I did hear "We've Only Just Begun" three times in the past two days... and "Only Yesterday" once and this morning... just a few minutes ago "Superstar" once..

There won't be a log update until next weekend but there are 35 hears since the last update 8 days ago- much different than the 5 or 6 per week we were getting earlier in the year. Largely because of I-net radio. Keep the reports coming in and remember- any time you hear The Carpenters on the radio (regular or internet), in a public place such as store or cafe, on TV or movies, post a note here. It must be a song actually sung by Carpenters, not another artist singing one of their signature songs.
