New Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Petition

Hi all... I have started a new and better petition to induct the Carpenters into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I had to finally remove the original petition because there was one very immature person leaving literally hundreds of vulgar and childish posts on it. And when I asked PetitionsOnline to help they did very little. Fortunately the person who made all these posts went away. But now this person came back and left several more rude posts). I emailed PetitonsOnline to assist in blocking this person. They have opted to not respond. Therefore I have decided to no longer do business with them or support them. The new petition is with a company called ThisCause.org and they have some great tools for banning people who may abuse the petition. This petition actually takes real signatures and you can add photos to it. It looks like a lot of fun.

Wow, Rick - it seems like so long ago that you and I discussed beginning this petition in the first place. And look at all the trouble one individual (well, I suppose really, there have been MORE than one) can cause. I'm so sorry this all happened.

Of course, I'm right with you on the support for the new petition, and you'll seeing my signature there very soon.

Ah, I forgot to mention that you posted one of my favorite pictures of Karen/Carpenters performing. Was this from around 1974?? Do you know from what concert the pic is taken?

The picture of Karen at the drums is from the 1974 Japanese tour. I believe she's singing "Johnny Angel".
