really tough one as all selections are really good. It was a toss up between This Masquarade, Its impossible and Making Love In the Afternoon but MLITA won out I just like the pop rock feel of this song liked both Karen and Peter and their respective groups they were in and from first listen this song had me hooked and still does today. As I said before there were alot of great choices here and I really like them all alot!

It was a toss up between the Karen/Ella rendition of "This Masquerade" and "Making Love In The Afternoon". I went with "Making Love In The Afternoon".
"Making Love..." is such an infectious pop-rock tune. It has such an outstanding upbeat rhythm you just can't help but to love the song. I truly feel this song would have easily been a huge hit if released in 1979/80. I also like Peter Cetera's voice. With the band Chicago, Cetera made many hits which I consider to be amongst my all-time favorites.

I like how how the Carpenters traded with Perry Como singing each other's hits, with Karen singing "It's Impossible" and "And I Love You So", Perry singing "Close to You", "We've Only Just Begun" and "Yesterday Once More", Richard singing "Don't Let the Stars Get in Your Eyes" and "Till the End of Time", etc. Richard had noted that Perry and Karen's voices are so distinctive in the world of singing that one can easily recognize each of them with just one note...

My first choice is not listed so I will choose "Makin' Love in The Afternoon" with Peter Cetera.
However, I really love the song that Karen and Ella sing which is "Don't Get Around Much Anymore". I'm not sure that is the title but I really love their duet together. Great job!

It was a pop standard that has been sung by Nat King Cole and many others. I would add the medley of Karen-Ella pop standards to the roster if only the poll entries can be edited... Rick, is this something that the author of the original post of a poll can do easily without intervention by the systems administrator?

As for editing a poll which has already been made - that we don't have the functions to do.
But when making a NEW POLL there is the option to add more options.
In the new poll field just below where it says "Answer 8" there is a link which reads: Click to display more answer fields. Click on that and more answers fields will pop up - that way you can make a poll with more than just 8 anwer options or choices.
