Yes, Rick, I can see a little resemblance. My wife has a hat that looks something like that and once in a while I call her Gilligan- always (O.K.- usually) good for a laugh.

:)I surely agree with you on that Rick....I bet Karen used to get a kick out of some silly show like Gilligan too!...But of all the characters in Gilligan's Island, just a thought on that, I guess she would be more like Mary Ann, the sensible not glamorous girl and she's be smart.. although she could easily ACT if she wanted to like glam gal Ginger...ha..!      s ???And By the way, I love this current background pic of Karen...she just lights up the whole screen with such a great smile!s |

I love Karen she was an unusual individual. I wonder if she purposely wore that hat with the long sleeve red top and blue jeans - just as Gilligan wore. Does anybody know where this pic is from. I'm not sure but I think it's from the "I Need To Be In Love" video.
The forum's current background pic is from the same photo seesion as the photo used for the cover of Rolling Stone. Karen has a nice tan and looks great. |

???I THINK YOU MAY BE RIGHT AS FAR AS I THINK THAT PHOTO IS FROM THE "I NEED TO B. IN LOVE" video, although I don't own that video, a friend at one time loaned it to me, and seems i recall her and Richard are on the plane. She may have worn it on purpose "for all we know".. anyway, yes, the tanned Karen is very healthy looking and full of fun.  |
