From the 1983 released album "Voice Of The Heart". This song was written in 1974 and parts of it were recorded in 1978 (?).
Let us know what you think about this song.

Magestic...breathtakingly beautiful. I loved this song, Karen's approach to this song...and material matter...and moving piano fade out by Richard to close this album is very classy, haunting and you wish it wouldn't end...

I teetered between "Love It" and "It's Okay" and ended up going with the "Love It". Overall this is an outstanding song. The lyrics are about the best part of the song. This is one of John Bettis most fantastic lyrics. I love the message of this song. The musicianship again as always is top notch. Karen's vocal performance is also wonderful - not flawless though - but still an outstanding vocal performance.

Love it! It is so inspirational, so emotional, so absolutely beautiful! It is the perfect song to close out the first album released after Karen's passing.

I also love this song its inspirational and beautifully sung by Karen and well produced and arranged by Richard. It has been said before but I do really like the piano solo to end the song fading away. Kind of like the music goes on dispite Karen no longer being with us and the fading remind me of Karens spirit having flown I imagine Karen decending to the other side whenenver I hear the end of this song. A beautiful song!

I love this song. To me, it's like Karen is singing it from heaven. The music and lyrics are superb. I often listen closely to Karen's breath sounds on certain songs. Perhaps it's maudlin, but it reminds me that she was alive and now is gone. Richard remarked that when he went back into the studio to complete Voice Of The Heart, listening to Karen breath was deeply sorrowful for him. Even after all these years, it still hurts to think of her passing.
I know Karen is with God and I'm very glad she is without suffering, but I do miss her. What more can I say.

Wow, that was a great post. Thank you Rob very much for such beautiful words.
You are right it does seem like Karen is singing this song straight from Heaven. Thank you for saying that. This puts a whole new meaning or maybe feeling to the song that I really hadn't thought of before. The way you've worded this post makes me want to take a good close listen to the song.

This song blew me away the first time I heard it. I have always loved this song. I love the opening and how the song builds into the masterpiece I always though it was... It is filled with hope and love but yet there is a hint of sadness to it . I always listen very careful to every note and breath karen sings on this song. This may sound strange but I would like this sound played at my funeral. It just touches on some very personal things in my on life. I will always love this song.
