For those of you who are part of the 200 CLUB there is a new addition to the "Interviews and Commentaries" board.
I just added the interview I did with Liberty DeVitto last year on his playing drums on Karen's solo album.
The board also has three other original interviews including the ones with Randy Sparks (writer of "A Place To Hideaway"), Steve Eaton (writer of "All You Get From Love Is A Love Song") and Dee Long (member of Klaatu who originally recorded "Calling Occupants...)
I still have two more interviews to add those would be with Rob Mounsey and Russell Javors both who played on Karen's solo.
I am also going to add a few of Tim San Paolo's commentaries on Carpenters subjects including his superb write up on the Carpenters Very First Television Special.
Once the Palma Pascale series is complete I will begin (hopefully) work on a new interview with a songwriter who had one of his songs included on the album "Made In America".

Man, I wanna become apart of this 200 club, and soon!
Guess I need to stick around a while, and keep posting, huh? It's all understandable..........there SHOULD be some benefit to someone who has hung on to this journey with the Carpenter's online forum, for so long! It gives me & others something to look forward to down the road in becoming more apart of this "Carpenter's group!
What a swell job you are doing here, Rick --- I'm impressed, "sincerely!!!!" My hands applaud you as I've never experienced a site so well invested in, and worked on!!!!
Keep it up........I'm hanging around as I love learning & knowing about each of you thru your comments!

Hi Rick,
You interviewed Rob Mounsey, the guy who also arranged and played synthesizers for Michael Franks? Cool!
I would like to suggest a potential interview subject: the song-writing team of Paul Williams and Roger Nichols, who penned many of the great songs performed by the Carpenters --- "We've Only Just Begun," "Rainy Days and Mondays," "Let Me be the One," "I Won't Last a Day without You" and "I Kept on Loving You." Paul Williams wrote "Ordinary Fool" on his own, and Roger Nichols co-wrote "When You've Got What It Takes" with Bill Lane and "Now" with Dean Pitchford. The deep emotional content of these songs were perfect for the Carpenters. Roger Nichols seems to have been less in the public eye than Paul Williams (who was often seen on TV in the 1970's doing some singing and acting), so any more information on Nichols would be appreciated.
I can hardly wait until I pass the threshold for the 200 Club!
