Here is a copy of the Carpenters Online Newsletter I've sent to everybody on the email mailing list.
Hello Friends of the Carpenters Online,
It's been over two months since the last web site update. I was pretty busy over the last month and a half helping some very dear friends move. Since they were physically unable to do most of it themselves. I helped pack their old home and then made all the arrangements to rent a few trucks and help them move all their furniture, boxes, etc into their new home. From there I helped them arrange their furniture, hang their clothes and unpack everything. It was a big huge job. I did this all on top of working my more than full-time job and conitnuing with my other internet businesses. Unfortunately I had to put Carpenters Online on the back burner for a little while - but now I'm back and ready to have some fun again with my Carpenters friends.
On this update you will see news about two new boards on the Carpenters Online Forum called "Fan's Review" and "Interviews and Commentaries".
The newest Favorite's List is a rerun of a list which was first on the Carpenters Online back in january 2004. It's called "Mixed Bag". I really enjoyed writing this one so I wanted to share it with you again.
I've also written a short commentary on the Carpenters and the Grammy Awards. There's not much new information here -but it's always good reading about the awards Carpenters have been nominated for and have won.
There is a new Carpenters Online Top Ten Albums list. These are the ten best selling Carpenters albums of the last month as calculated through the Carpenters Online.
The Carpenters song of the month is "Desperado" from the 1975 album "Horizon". This ties in with our Off-Topic selection of the month which is the Eagles' 1975 album "One Of These Nights".
There is also breif news about the most recent Carpenters release which is a three disc set titled "Chronicles".
That's it for now. I hope you all enjoy the update and there will be more new sutff next month. Take care all and drop me a line or join us on the forum for some good old Carpenters discussion.
For now have a good one and I'll be in touch again real soon.
Sincerely,
Rick Henry
