Recently I receieved an email from forum member Jim. Here is his question with my answer. Hi Rick;
Since I have been away from the site for so long and you have made so many upgrades to the site, I can't seem to figure out how replies to posts get to my Email.
I thought when I changed my profile, that would fix it but I still don'y recieve reply notices.
Thanks JimHi Jim, thank you very much for the very nice email.
To get email replies to your posts you need to check the box that says "Bookmark" in front of it. This you can find at the bottom of the reply box before you post a message. It has a message after it that says; "Check this box if you wish to bookmark this thread".
You can also bookmark a thread by scrolling down to the bottom of any thread and clicking on the "bookmark" icon which can be found next to the search icon. Bookmarked threads are sent to your email address.
1. You also need to go into your profile and at the top of your profile page there should be a heading that says BOOKMARKS (it's next to the MODIFY heading).
2. Click on the BOOKMARKS heading and then after that a new page will come up.
3. On that page click on the line that says; "Click here to manage your bookmarks preferences".
4. From there you will see a dropdown box. Click on the arrow to set your preference to "email".
5. After you've changed your preference to "email" click on the "Update Bookmarks and Preferences" bar to save the change.
Please let me know if you were able to accomplish this.

Oh how I long to find a place to hideaway. Goofus Hi Jim, no need to hideaway. This was a good question which other people have asked me so I thought this would be helpful for others to read.
A very big thank you goes to you Jim for asking this question in the first place.

Once again I've had more people asking about the "bookmark" function. Therefore I will keep this thread at the top of the forum for a while.
