Two phrases come to mind "Crash And Burn" and "No Chance In Hell!!". I do not know about Karen I really have no idea exactly what she wanted in a man but Agnes would quickly chew me up and spit me out send me packing to the curb. I am not rich enough, I am not of the social standing that would bring me close to what Agnes wanted in a suiter for her daughter. It ain't pretty but Agnes may find me nice enough but I really feel that I would not stand a chance as far as measuring up to Agnes' expectations or perhaps even Karens for that matter. Sorry if this is a little intense or heavy but I must tell it as it is or call it as I see it.

Dave, I'm supposing that you mean us gals can speak up too on this one...pretending if we were guys...i pretty much agree with you and Enigma on this. Don't think I would have measured up at all ...especially since I can't read music or play any instrument, not rich enough and way too sensitive to criticism.......so it goes...

Yes, Smoothie, everyone can play. A fundamental starting point would be: why would either Karen or Richard want to be friends with any of us? As I've said, I always reply to anyone who takes the time to e-mail me. To me, it's common courtesy. If one of Richard's kids needed to know some inside info on the Space Shuttle, or NASA, and he e-mailed me, sure I'd help. After I got up off the floor, of course! Does the fame and fortune intimidate me? Two years ago, I'd have said yes. Not anymore. I believe that Richard puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like we all do. But then again, he just might be REALLY good! Very interesting insight there Dave. Since we are talking about Karen romantically speaking it should be noted that Karen has stated herself that she had trouble with her boyfriends being intimidated by her fame, fortune, and visable presence. Alot of men could not handle the fact Karen got the attention due to her fame at least that is what Karen stated and I have heard it many times when a woman has a better job than her mate or has a job and her mate does not some guys can't handle that so Karens complaints are not unusual. How this relates to this topic is what you said Dave not being intimidated by Karen she wanted a man who was not intimidated by her so you would at least pass that test now. Looks like YOU wouldn't do so bad after all Dave at least on the Karen front Agnes of course as we discussed is a different matter. I know I would probably be intimidated by Karen not because she is famous and rich but because I am generally intimidated by beautiful women kind of an inferiority complex. As far as the wanting to be friends part Karen and Richard were down to earth I don't think Richard is so much down to earth now. Friendship with any famous person when you are not in their circle is a long shot and I do not think Karen and/or Richard would be any different. Also you must consider that these people have thousands if not millions of fans they cannot be friends with all of them and they are gaurded because there are those who try to take advantage of them and/or are a real threat to them an unfortunate reality of being famous. Some food for thought.
