In order to find out if, and when, the Carpenters will be on television, a person might go to www.rockontv.com or www.zap2it.com I went to www.zap2it.com to look for the Carpenters on tv and entered "Carpenter" under the search engine. One of the results that came up was "Carol and Friends" that featured a skit named "Lady Carpenter". Since the Carpenters had been on the Carol Burnett show, I hoped this one included them. It aired on Sat. April 23, 2005, (on the TV Land channel),from 8:00 am to 8:30 am. EST. The show had Carol as a woman carpenter building a structure, while Harvey Korman and Lyle Waggner stand aound and argue about woman carpenters in the workplace. It was an ealy 1970's epsiode that dealt with woman doing jobs that were traditionaly only for males. The epsiode of "Carol and Friends" that has "Lady Carpenter" in it, does not include the Carpenters in it, and I doubt if any epsiode of "Carol and Friends" that airs include the Carpenters in them. I suppose the reason the music skits, and the non-music skits, that the Carpenters did on the "Carol Burnett" show are not shown, is because of the money that would have to be paid out. I am sure that applys to all of the television shows the Carpenters did in the 1960's, 70's, and 80's that are shown on tv today, and explains why it's rare to ever see the Carpenters on any of them. What a shame! Bennett ;D
