In honor of our favorite K.C., here are some people, groups, places and phrases that contain the initials K.C., as a part of the name. Clues are given for each identity. Some will be easy, some may require some thought and some may even require a little research. Maybe you will even learn a couple things. Have fun and unwind!

Good one, O.E. ! Currently, I only have 9 out of 20 ... I'm hoping others find the game soon and help with the answers.

Outstanding game O.E.
Before seeing Sunnybunny's and Wisejester's answers (and before doing any research I was able to get the answers to #'s 4,5,6,10, 11, 13 and 17.
I will probably kick myself on the answers for 3, 12 and 14. And I can't believe I'm stumped on a music clue #2 - no doubt I will kick myself on that answer also.
This is a great game I look forward to other's answers.
Amazing such the lot of intellects Karen Carpenter attracts. Deep attracts deep.

I think I have a few more figured out, but like Rick, I think I will feel kinda goofy when I find out what some of the answers really are.

Maybe by the middle or end of the week you can start to post the answers you have (sunnybunny has correctly identified 1, 4 & 11) and we'll see what sticklers remain. Anyone who could get #15 without doing a search must be a true wolverine.

WJ7, All your answers are correct. Good job! I know some of them were tough. Rick, if interpreted a certain way I can see where Karen could be an answer to #5, but what I had in mind was an actual place. So have fun with this a few more days! (hint: the answer to #20 was used in a post recently on another board of this forum.) I have a guess as to #21 but let's let everyone think for a while.

GoodOldDreams, Number 20 is correct. Good job! As for #5, Kansas City may be rainy but I'm thinking of a place particularly noted for rain; once you think of that place, think larger geographic entity.

Okay the only one I'll kick myself about is #3 with Kitchen Cabinet being the location for Ketchup. In my line of work I deal with kitchen cabinets on a daily basis. Though, my first thought for ketchup location was the refrigerator - as that's where I keep my ketchup. #2 completely stumped me - but now as the name Kenny Clarke is mentioned I remember who he is. Oh and #18 Kate Capshaw... I should have known that one. #21 my contribution to your fantastic game is King Crimson. King Crimson is a progressive rock band who has been on the scene since around 1969. They are still an active band with their last release being in 2003. King Crimson plays up the KC quite a bit as their outstanding album "ConstruKCtion of Light" released in 2000 is spelled exactly as i spelled it in this post with the KC capitalized. A little background on King Crimson... Adrian Belew has been the lead singer, chief songwriter, co-producer, arranger and guitarist for King Crimson since 1980. Along with working in KC he has released his own solo albums as well as working with Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Laurie Anderson, Jean Michel-Jarre, Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club and others. He has also worked with a slew of Christian rock musicians including Jars Of Clay, Rick Altizer and solo works of members of DC Talk. Excellent game O.E. - thank you for letting me add my little KC to the game.
