Three Stars
I love this short echoing reprise. It's a great way to end the album. Though, I gave it three stars because it's an editted snippet of the entire song with some reverb added to give it that ethereal sound. I gave the full version five stars.

5 Stars A very nice reprise to a very special album and a great way to draw your attenton to the first track so that you can just listen to the album all over again

And so we come to the end of arguably one of the finest Carpenters albums. A beautiful book-end snipet from the title track.
3 Stars. L

This says it all. And when my life is over, remember when we were together We were alone and I was singing this song for you.
Thank you Richard and Karen, for saying what you needed and wanted to say through your words, music and vocals. The reprise of "A Song For You" is elegant and poignant, - and a reflection of what was inside your souls. Sincerely, magiclamp

A haunting reminder of the fuller song. The reprise leaves 'A Song For You' imprinted in your mind... an imprint that pops up at random during moments of the day/night. The presentation is perfect.

The first time I listened to this record all the way through, I didn't realize that this reprise was at the end and it stopped me dead in my tracks hearing the haunting opening and Karen's voice. Absolutely beautiful.
