Sandi Patty has announced on her website that she will have a new Christmas project, Yuletide Joy, out this fall. That means, while I am baking in the Texas sun this summer, I will be thinking about September and Christmas!
I don't know if anyone out there likes Sandi, but I know Cam and I are already looking forward to the new project!
Also, remember the new Hallmark Christmas ornaments hits the stores in July....Yeah, I know I need some therapy......

Hi Moe and Cam excellent sounds like this will be a nice Christmas collection to look forward to. Just to let you know I am moving this topic to the general music section. As the "Merry Christmas Darling" section is for Carpenters Christmas music.

I found Sandi's comments on her favorite singers in an interview on the internet. She pays a nice tribute to our Karen... "Patty grew up with Christian music all around her; her father was a minister of music and her mother a church pianist. But if you ask her which singers inspired her most, she points to Barbra Streisand and Karen Carpenter. "I loved Barbra Streisand's phrasing, the way she would place notes, and the way she would make the words really come alive," she says. "The way Karen Carpenter would interpret a song was just magical. It wasn't just, let's sing and be done with it. There was a lot of passion in the words."
