which Carpenters song would you say you've played more than any other.
For me that song would be Boat To Sail. I just love this song. I has such a relaxing sunshiny feeling. Runner up would be Only Yesterday.

Boy that's a tough question. I think I've listened to We've Only Just Begun more than any other song. Since Karen's death, I've absolutely been crazy about You're The One. Karen's voice is the most incredible I've ever heard on that recording. No one comes close to her talent.

I would have to say that "Rainy Days and Mondays" is my most played Carpenters' tune. I have always loved it and had a connection with it.

The song I probably played the most growing up with the Carpenters was from "A Kind of Hush" called ........ "I Have You".

In the last 5 or 6 years my most played C's or Karen song(s) would be "Rainbow Connection" and "Making Love In the Afternoon". Of alltime I'd say either "Road Ode" or believe it or not "Goofus" - that "Goofus" is one zany and wonderful arrangement.

In recent times (the last couple of years) it has been 'If We Try' from Karen's solo work.
And to celebrate this answer, I'll listen one more time!

It's "Won't last a Day Without You" for me. There are times when I don't think I can get through all the bad news of the times without listening to the music of the Carpenters. Some of the Carpenters songs were depressing, but, they were well-made depressing songs. Benn

Still and likely always will be Superstar: a near perfect vocal performance. Only Yesterday is a close second with Happy and the Now and The Medley gaining ground: just something about Karen playing drums and singing that makes me want to listen more.

My most played list is always changing. At this moment Love Makin Love To You, Sailing On The Tide, Road Ode and even though its not Karen Only The Angels Know. I wish so bad Karen was the one singing it. I feel it would have been a hit. JIM

A new most listened to leader is on the Horizon for me.
That would be 'I Can Dream Can't I?'

"Touch Me When We're Dancing." It's such a happy tune, and so well-produced, and Karen and the harmonies sound so great, that I can listen to it over and over. It's great to set on "repeat" in the background while you're doing paperwork or housework.
I also think it's a sign of the newer sound the Cs would have moved into had Karen lived. For that reason, it leaves me wanting more....

I think overall all through the yrs. I've listened to Rainy Days the most with Superstar being next. Actually, though since I now am more hooked on the Carps. more than ever since I've hooked up with this site (thanks Rick and all fans and members!) my most often listened to list changes from time to time also. Lately, it's been songs from Interpretations cd..."From this Moment On", Calling Occupants (waaaay Coool) and Tryin' to Get the Feeling". I find the Carps. to be a real "constant" with me more than ever..now...I guess if Karen sent a space ship with her name on it, then I'd be quickly swooped up! ...
