God Bless you, Karen. You are greatly missed and forever loved. Your voice was a gift of a lifetime to millions of people. Wish you were here performing today. The world is at a loss without your warmth, soul, and talent.

Such a void - such a hole left in the hearts of those who were fans of this lady. Such an amazing voice - such an interesting individual - such a talent. The old cliche', ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG may be only that, a cliche', but it seems to happen way too often. Too many young people leave us who, like Karen, are talented, full of life, and have so much to offer to others. I'd have love to have really known Karen while she was alive. I feel as though I know her, in a vague way, because of the music she chose to sing, and the way in which she sang it. I heard it said from someone just recently that Karen could "take you on the journey" with her. I believe that to be true. Yes, Karen is in a much better place, but sometimes that's not what we want to hear, yes? We'd love for her to be here WITH US, but alas - some things were not meant to be. However, I'm not so sure she's entirely "gone." Her memory, the music - that VOICE will remain with all of us, and can be heard in an instant, reminding us all quickly of the talented lady with the one-of-a-kind voice. We miss you, Karen! We miss you.

When I listen to her solos, I am constantly thinking about what Karen would be singing today - with and without Richard I'm sure.
Miss you Karen - Watch over us down here. We need it!
