Just thought I'd share a few of my favorite pics... Nothing new or rare... these pics have already made their way around the internet... these are just a few I really like... Great pic of K&R... Does anybody know where this picture was taken? This is a really cute look for K... puts a smile on my face. Karen is quite beautiful here... This is a slightly different look for Karen.

Great pics, Rick - it's cool to see/share some pics of Karen that aren't the ones you pretty much always see. I've picked a few to add myself, although I have too many favorites to add them all. Here are a few more than maybe aren't used so often, but are great pics. Top left: Karen looking VERY Kate Jackson/Charlie's Angel-ish Top right: Karen looking like a typical, fun, and pretty young lady - you'd never look at that picture and think that voice would come out of such a tiny, young looking girl. Bottom left: Karen looking sexy, healthy & playful Bottom middle: stunning shot of Karen, which uncropped with Richard, would have made a much better cover shot for Horizon, IMO Bottom right: Beautiful and happy: Karen the drummer If anyone knows where I can get good, high quality versions of the two Horizon session photos, I would GREATLY appreciate it. They are two of my all-time favorites. I love Karen's look around 74-early 75.

Cinscorp... you and I must be related somehow... I also love Karen's looks best from 1974 to early 75... she looked her best at that point... and her voice was at it's finest. I like what you had to say about the "typical fun" pic... who would ever think such a cute girl like Karen would have such a rich and deep voice... by the way did you know David Alley took that pic and more can be found on his photography website. He also has some great shots of David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Michael McDonald and others. I will search to find better quality pics for you... I may have the dog pic somewhere in my collection here at home...

....hello to all....I love all of these pics!!Rick, you have picked one of my very fave of all of Karen and that is when she was on the Bob Hope special wearing the short sleeve lacey top. I recall watching that show in fact. I know I especially loved hearing the C's singing "A Song For You" (along with others also) on that special. I have that in my "Favorites" list here on the computer....the video that has been on You Tube of them singing that. I love the start of that A Song For You when Karen sings "I've been so many places in my life and time, I've sung a lot of songs, I've made some bad rhyme..." She has quite a tanned look with that dress on and I adore all that gorgeous head of hair. Even though she looks quite Ticked off in that one pic, Rick, look at that thick head of hair, and I like that pic. after all it is more realistic, I'm sure there were plenty of times, she got tired of smiling especially when we know she was very unhappy inside at times. Cinscorp, thanks also for the ones you posted. I catch myself at times biting my lip and giving the sun such a squint !

Hi Smoothie... thanks for your comments on the pics. I tend to prefer the candid shots more than the posed photos. In many instances the posed shots were overly "sweet" (ie the cover of A Kind Of Hush). I like the candid shot which I titled "a slightly different look" as it shows Karen as she was. A serious young woman. She took her business seriously.
