Great compilation, Rick! Makes me feel warmer too! Btw, what do you think of the Isley Brothers' version of Summer Breeze? If any version can top the original performance, I think it has to be this one! Ernie Isley, now there's a superstar on guitar... "For The Love Of You" by the Isleys is also a wonderful song - for all seasons!!

Yes, absolutely: a great compilation, Rick. Since summer has (finally) arrived in Germany, too, I'm totally in the mood for such songs. There's actually one of my all-time top 10 (maybe top 5? (maybe top 3??)) songs among your choice: it's "The girl from Ipanema". Bossa Nova is definitely one of my favourite musical genres - and this song is one reason I started listening to those Brazilian sounds. Astrud Gilberto is the absolute Bossa Nova Queen, Stan Getz is great, like Antonio Carlos Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes or Sergio Mendes of course. My personal favourite Bossa Nova Artist is Marcos Valle. I love his songs, not only but especially in the summertime.. Bossa Nova, some Classic Vocal House and some Reggae - that's my perfect mix for a hot summer.
