This game should be a bit easier than the last one. There are two embedded clues for the artist and two connections to the Carpenters.
Here are the clues:
ARTIST: Runaway Bride of Greek Shipping Magnate
SONG: Passionate Cardiac Injection

Interesting clues Dreams... I can't quite get anything from them.
I'm thinking the artist may be someone named Jennifer?

Hi Rick, Interesting guess, but let me steer you in another direction... Who comes to mind first as a very well-known "Greek Shipping Magnate"?

Good! Now, who comes to mind as the "Bride of Greek Shipping Magnate", often referred to primarily by her first name alone?

Hi Tim, Yep. The First Lady was also referenced affectionately as Jackie O. or simply Jackie. Congratulations! You've gotten the first name correct! Jackie DeShannon Put A Little Love In Your Heart On 'Boat To Sail'..........."DeShannon is back"........ Hi wj7, Right on! The song "Runaway" was a #1 runaway hit for Del Shannon in 1961. The Carpenters stage band actually performed this retro song live in concert. (The juxtaposition of "Runaway" with "Bride" in the clues for the artist was meant to open up to multiple interpretations and lead some to think of Julia Roberts in the movie with that name.) Putting the clues together, "Jackie" + "Del Shannon" = "Jackie DeShannon" (well, minus the "L"— it's hard to find a perfect name match with other celebrities). Singer/songwriter/actress Jackie DeShannon wrote and had a Top Ten 1969 hit with "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" (= the more clinical "Passionate Cardiac Injection"). Not only did Karen sing "DeShannon is back..." at the end of "Boat to Sail" (like the way Toni Tennille footnoted "Sedaka's back" at the end of "Love Will Keep Us Together"), but Jackie herself wrote the song and released it shortly before the Carpenters' cover of it as a cut on the album "A Kind of Hush" in 1976. Now, what is the other BIG (although more indirect) connection to the Carpenters?

How funny Dreams... I took the clue as "Runaway Bride" and immediatley thought of Jennifer Wilbanks - who didn't show up for her wedding in April 2005 and later said she was abducted. Thinking since "Runaway Bride" was at the beginning of the clue I took this as being the artists first name - but I couldn't find anybody with the name Jennifer Onassis or Jennifer Kennedy that was in the music business. There's a female bodybuilder named Jennifer Kennedy though.
A connection I can think of - is Jackie recorded "What The World needs Now Is Love" which was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David - but that is not the song "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" - which you listed as the song clue. I don't seem to be able to find a Carpenters connection to that song - maybe I'm overlooking something. I will continue to search...

Hi Rick, Bingo! You need to look no further — you have already arrived at two of the right answers! When I confirmed that you guessed correctly the "Greek Shipping Magnate" was Onassis, I thought that you would then quickly deduce "Jackie" from the clue ' "Bride of Greek Shipping Magnate", often referred to primarily by her first name alone,' and figure out the rest... I hinted that the second connection to the Carpenters being BIG but more indirect than "Boat to Sail." One of Jackie DeShannon's signature hits was her self-penned "Put a Little Love in Your Heart", which would provide another clue to her identity. However, it was the Burt Bacharach-Hal David song "What the World Needs Now is Love" that she recorded in 1965 that became her first BIG #1 hit. Of course, the songwriting team of Burt Bacharach-Hal David is no stranger to the Carpenters' repertoire and medleys. I dedicate this game to Rick, who is self-professed to be a Californai label from the top of his head, and for whom the laid-back "Boat to Sail" is one of his favorite songs. Thanks to Rick, Tim and Wisejester7 for a game well-played... Remember, as they say, "Put a Little in your " because "What the World Needs Now is Sweet ."

Thanks, GoodOldDreams, for the fun game. I like the way you gave it just the perfect 'twist' in the artist name portion.
At first, I was looking for Jackie O...you'll never believe some of the stuff I found. Try it and see where it takes you!
Anyway, I realized it was just 'Jackie' and not 'Jackie O'. So much better that way : )
****** Personal note: That gracious first lady is who my daughter was named after.

I also did a search for Jackie O - and came up with several groups- one named Jaki-O a rap artists and another named Jackie O a dance group who did a remake of a song named "Sing" - but it's not the Carpenters' "Sing" - it's a song of the same name originally by a group named Travis released around 2000.
Thanks Dreams... for doing this one in my honor - anyone who knows me - knows I love "Boat To Sail" - it's one of my ultimate faves by Carpenters. I especially love that smooth stacked vocal effect - what an outstanding vocal arrangment...
btw... I'll come back with game #22 in a day or two.
