I'm just starting this thread on The Bee Gees so we can talk more about them..., I think they deserve their own Disco thread...
..., I'll come back to share some thoughts when I have more time. [glow=red,2,300][/glow][shadow=red,left,300] [/shadow][shadow=red,left,300]Roland Chayer[/shadow][shadow=red,left,300] [/shadow]

Absolutely Roland the Bee Gees were the Kings of disco but they were so much more than that. They are true legends who have been creating hits for almost 40 years now. What more can be said about the Bee Gees they hold countless records I love songs from all periods of their career and here are a few. I Started A Joke, How Can You Mend A Broken Heard, (The Lights Went Out In) Massachusetts, To Love Somebody, How Deep Is Your Love, Staying Alive, Tragedy, Too Much Heaven, You Win Again, One, This Is Where I Come In... to name a few As well as many more they wrote for other artists. They were a true phenomenum and continue to release great songs. You just can't have a disco board without the Bee Gees.

$? %W$ The BeeGees are deifinitely one of the alltime great groups. They have such a large body of work which includes several musical genres including disco. Some of my favorites include the earlier po/rock hits "Lonely Days", "Holiday", "To Love Somebody" and "Run To Me". and from the disco era my favorites are; "Jive Talkin'", "Fanny Be Tender", "You Should Be Dancin'", "Nights On Broadway", "Love So Right", "How Deep Is Your Love", and "Tragedy". And of course we must remember the hits they wrote for others; "Heartbreaker" by dionne Warwick, "Islands In the Stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, "Emotion" by Samantha Sang, and "If I Can't Have You" by Yvonne Elliman.

Does Andy Gibb count also? He was a dreamboat! Oh my gosh, the first time I saw him on vh1 classics, I could not help but go: "hubba bubba" Soo dreamy. I like his songs a lot.
The Bee Gees have stood the test of time a lot better than some folks figured. They were great.
