I make records as almost live journals, recording thoughts and feelings and stories of where I am at the time. And during the recording of 'Blink' I was a new mother and pregnant with my second. I had learned very quickly how fast time flies. So in order to capture moments that I know will not only never come again, but that go by so quickly when they do...I made a record inspired by the 2 new men in my life, Solomon and Oliver Lee, who make every day a brand new and never seen again miracle. "Blink" encompasses the songs I sing and wrote for them in an to attempt to make the most out of our time together.
***
All it takes is a split second to glimpse God's grace in the midst of daily life---and then, blink, that instant is gone forever! In her most personal album yet, Plumb shares fleeting but precious experiences from her own life---and opens your eyes to the momentary miracles that fill each new day. Includes "Always," "My Child," and "Sleep."
***
This is a magnificently beautiful album. This could possibly end up being one of 2007's very finest recordings. Tiffany Arbuckle Lee (aka Plumb) sings with the power of Donna Summer and the beauty of Karen Carpenter. If I may be so bold to say, Tiffany is this era's finest female vocalist. Her voice shines above almost anyone else on the scene and there are many excellent vocalists out there on the Christian and secular music scene.
Her new album "Blink" sails smmothly like a delicate crystalline lullybye. Every song on the album is a winner. There is not one weak song here.
The songs are all tender and delicate yet with today's modern musical technology... featuring some fantastic... ethereal synthesizer programming masterfully done by Jeremy Bose. Bose also produced the album.
tiffany Arbuckle Lee co-wrote all the songs on the album with Jeremy Bose and other band members lending a hand in the songwriting.
Every song is dedicated to a child or to a family of children. Most poignant is sleep" which is dedicated to all unborn babies and their mothers.
The album overall is dedicated to Tiffany's two sons Oliver Cannon Lee and Solomon Lee.
This album is very much well worth purchasing. It's mature and intricate in sound and style. A+ all the way!
