I probably just will be repeating myself over and over, but again I give Sandy 5 stars. A true to the heart love song. It has a smooth easy laid back sound, and in my mind I picture a beach, and a couple splashing around in the water. "Looking at you, I'm like a child again.." Ok. even if the song says it's a rainy day....they could still have fun.

4-Stars
This is a solid song. One of the best from the album. This song has a wintery to feel to it. When I hear this song for some reason the album cover comes to mind. I guess because the cover has a somewhat warm wintery feel by the fireplace look about it. That's the same feeling I get when I hear the song "Sandy". Karen's vocal on this song is outstanding all the way through. I also love the dark yet lilting lyric. The best part of the song (for me) is the great mix of wind instruments at the end. It's brings the song to a smooth yet thrilling close.

5 stars. An Outstanding Song. I often listen to this song with 'You'. They are a little bit similar, but both are great.

I give three stars for this song. It's not a big deal but it's ok. However I give a special mention to the vocal arrangement

5 stars. Very dark song. Soothing harmonies. I just love it all. Almost reminds me of the ONE LOVE song from 1971 CARPENTERS album.

I liken this easy-jazz song to 'Goodbye & I Love You' from the 'Horizon' album.
It's a wonderfully classy affair and undoubedly ranks as one of the Carpenters finest album cuts. I suspect it's impact might have been diluted somewhat by the inclusion of several other similarly-paced tracks on the album.
A personal highlight is the way Karen's voice opens out when she sings the line "your eyes can see clearer that mine....". Beautiful.
4 Stars.

3 stars Just an ordinary song for me. Nice melody and lyric, but nothing special.
