$% "Take It To The Limit" would have been a great Carpenters song. I see this done in a style similar to "Only Yesterday". I also think "Take It Easy" and "Lyin' Eyes" are naturals for the Carpenters.

Karen would have done an excellent job on Best Of My Love put an arrangement simular to Solitaire or Caught Between Goodbye and I Love You and the C's could stike gold with that one.
Take It To The Limit is a great choice others I think would make good cover by Karen/Carpenters are I Can't Tell You Why and New Kid In Town. Also would be interesting to see what she would do with Get Over It perhaps for a solo record.

What an awesome group of professional singers we have here!!!! Just watched part of a live-concert they did not too long ago.....on a very big wide-screen tv at an electronics store, and I didn't want to leave the place!!!
They had all four singers of the group sitting up-front on stage, on chairs, with their guitars in hand, and an excellent sounding band behind & around them....while they sang off all their well-known and well-loved hits. They still sound (& look) SOOOOOOOO good!!!!!!!
What an awesome live-taping this is! I really want to get this live recording on dvd.....just got to find out the exact title of this concert they did....I think in Holland, not too sure?
Karen sang their "Desperato" song very beautifully.....and I too can see her singing a few other songs of theirs.

Just found out the title to the live in concert video I was talking about....."Eagels -- Farewell Live 1 from Melbourne Tour". I believe Melbourne is in Australia, isn't it? It's a 2 disc cd......tons of wonderful hits on it....worth buying!!!!
Anyway.....sorry, I may be a little off topic here, as I suppose I should be mentioning songs from the Eagles that I can see Karen singing.
I find the Eagles "Peaceful Easy Feeling" song has that same easy "country-style" rhythmic beat to it like Karen's "Someone like you (reason to believe)" song.....so I'm thinking she could have easily made this Eagle's song her own, and sang it in her own unique way & style, beautifully!
